Payments

All prices are stated in Danish kroner (DKK) in Denmark, Swedish kronor (SEK) in Sweden, Euros (€) in teh Eurozone and include 25% VAT. We accept Visa/Dankort, Visa, Visa Electron, Maestro, MasterCard and MobilePay. 

The payment is only withdrawn from your account when the goods are dispatched or when your goods are ready for collection.

We do not charge a fee for the payments.


Delivery

Orders are sent out twice a week, on Mondays and Thursdays around 10:00. Normal delivery time to addresses in Denmark is 1-2 working days. To other EU countries the normal delivery time is 3-4 working days. All goods are sent by GLS. However, heavy items such as furniture are sent with Danske Fragtmænd within Denmark.


Uncollected parcels

You cannot refund your purchase simply by refusing to collect the item from a collection point. You usually have 7 days to pick up your parcel from the collection point. 

If it is not collected in time it is returned to us. We will charge a fee of DKK 50 (or equivalent in SEK or €)  to cover the cost we have to pay for the package to be sent back to us, and we do not refund the original cost of delivery.


Right to return

As a consumer, you have a 30-day right of withdrawal (right to a refund) when you shop with us online. The cancellation period expires 30 days after the day you receive your item or receive the last item in your order in the case of an order for multiple items that are delivered individually.

Items which have been made to order according to the customer’s specifications are excluded from the right of withdrawal.


Cancellation of a part of the purchase

If you have bought several items from us, you have the option of sending one or more items back, even if they were purchased in one order. Please note that you will not get a refund for the shipping if you regret part of your purchase.


Returns

If you wish to return an item, you must send your order back to us as soon as possible, and no later than 14 days after you have notified us that you wish to cancel your purchase. You must bare the direct costs in connection with the return shipment of the item.

You can use our returns portal here. This is only available for customers returning from Denmark at the moment. If you are returning from other countries you will need to arrange the return yourself.

Please be aware that you bare the risk for the goods until we receive them back, if something were to get damaged or lost in transit.

You must fill in and send our return slip if you wish to cancel your purchase. You can find the return slip right here.

If you do not have the option to print, you can attach a handwritten note or write on the pick-up note that we sent with your original order. You must write clearly on the note which items you wish to return.

 

The item's condition when you send it back

You may try the item at home in the same way as if you tried it in a physical store, but you may not use it. If the original packaging is missing, this may lead to a decrease in the value of the item. If the item has been used, you may only be eligible to only get a part of or none of the purchase amount back, as we cannot sell the item again.

You are liable for any deterioration in the value of the item. The value lost is determined by Amolia. We recommend that you return the item in its original packaging and pack it securely.


Refunds

You will receive back the amount you paid us minus the original delivery cost as this is non-refundable. In the event of a decrease in value in the product itself for which you are liable, this will be deducted from the purchase amount.

If you exercise your right of return, we will refund all payments you have made to us without undue delay and under all circumstances no later than 14 days from the date on which we received notification of your decision to withdraw from this agreement. We will make such a refund using the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction.

We can withhold the refund until we have received the item back, unless you have provided documentation that you have returned it before then.

Right of complaint

When you shop with us as a consumer, you have a 24-month right of complaint. This means that you can make a complaint about defects in the product that occurred within the first 24 months. It is a requirement that the defect did not arise as a result of incorrect use of the product. You must contact us within a “reasonable time” after you have discovered the problem with the item. If you raise a complaint within two months of discovering the defect, the complaint will be considered timely. If you want to make a complaint a product, you must send an email to:

Please attach the order number of the purchase, pictures of the defect and a description. If the complaint is made more than half a year after the purchase, the burden of proof lies with the customer.

We will refund your (reasonable) shipping costs if the item has to be sent back. We will let you know if it is required to send back to us. The item must always be sent back well packaged, and remember to get a receipt for sending so that we can reimburse your shipping costs if they have to be sent back.

Access to complaints

If you as a consumer want to complain about your purchase, you must contact us at:

If we are unable to find a solution, you can send a complaint to:

To be able to make a complaint, the item you want to complain about must have cost at least DKK 1,110 and a maximum of DKK 100,000. It costs a fee to have the complaint processed.

Privacy policy

We need the following information when you shop with us: Name, address, phone number and email address.

We register and pass on the personal data that is necessary to be able to deliver the goods to you. The personal information is registered with Amolia ApS and stored for five years, after which the information is deleted. We also collaborate with a number of other companies that store and process data. The companies only process information on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes. We only work with data processors in the EU or in countries that can provide your information with sufficient protection.

The data controller at Amolia.dk is Amolia ApS.

You have the right to be informed about which information we process about you. If you believe that the information is inaccurate, you have the right to have it corrected. In some cases, we are obliged to delete your personal data if you ask for it. It can, for example, be if your data is no longer necessary in relation to the purpose for which we were to use it. You can also contact us if you believe that your personal data is being processed in violation of the law. You can write to us at:
